Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi Meets With Omekannaya Structures in Ward 4, Isuikwuato LGA

The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi met with Omekannaya Structures in Eluama and Umuobiala chapters respectively.

The meeting, which was solely to interacts and also build their confidence in the tasks ahead as INEC lifts the restrictions on campaigns for the general election in few hours.

The Eluama chapter of the Omekannaya Structure promised to support and work for the overall victory of their candidate come 2023. The members of the structure came in their numbers despite the heavy downpour today, just to show solidarity for their principal and also to chart way forward for Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi candidacy.

While speaking, Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi said if elected, she will attract jobs for the youths, bring developments closer to the people and also drive a solid empowerment program for the women across the constituency.

She assured them of always listening to them as she will only serve as a servant and not as a boss once elected.

“You know I’m not the regular politician who will come to promise and not fulfill his or her promises once elections are over as I will make sure I’m closer to the masses than ever”

Other speakers who spoke during the meeting encouraged the youths of Eluama to see they take back what belongs to Isuikwuato as the current legislator has overstayed.

In other news, Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi also met with Omekannaya Structure at the civic center in Umuobiala community, in Isuikwuato LGA.

The women leader of Omekannaya Structure Umuobiala informed her that the whole community loves her and are solidly behind her and promised to give her their full support before, during and after the election.

Dr Obi promised to carry everyone along and bring developments and employments to them and across the constituency at large.

Dignitaries at the meeting are the national secretary of Umuobiala Development Union, the women leader of Omekannaya Structure, the Omekannaya coordinator, Hon Longlife Ejiuwaka, Mr Dickson Ochu, Mr Ndubuisi Onwuchekwa, and the executives of Umuobiala and Eluama chapters of the Omekannaya Structures respectively.
