It has come to my notice that some sponsored mischief makers are spreading false information that Mr Innocent Adiele, a committed frontline aspirant for Abia State House of Assembly, Isuikwuato state constituency has changed his mind and now vying for another position.
Ordinarily, this baseless and unfounded rumour ought not to elicit any response from me as I am deeply involved and busy with consultations and propagation of my manifesto to our highly esteemed delegates and stakeholders but in order to disabuse our worthy party members who might have come across this attempted smear campaign, it is necessary to state as follows:
That I, Innocent Onyeji Adiele, is still in the race to Abia State House of Assembly, to represent the good people of Isuikwuato state constituency.
That it is unimaginable that mischief makers will allege that I have decided to vie for another position when the sale of nomination forms has already closed.
That the people behind this rumour are those who are scared of my unparalleled acceptability among the delegates and who are already jittery about their imminent failure at the primaries, thus they resort to misinformation and disinformation in order to sell their unmarketable ambitions.
That I will remain in the race for Abia State House of Assembly and pursue it to its logical conclusion at the primary election and by God’s grace, to the general election.
I hereby call on our stakeholders, delegates, party members and all my political associates to kindly disregard any such baseless rumours and remain resolute in working with my team in realising the Isuikwuato state constituency of our dream.
Long live Isuikwuato state constituency
Long live Abia state.
Mr Innocent Onyeji Adiele
