The Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency 2019 aspirant, Chief Amobi Ogah has joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State, profjaysblog reports.
Recall that, Amobi had resigned his membership from the All Progressive Congress (APC) in a letter addressed to the ward 8 chairman in Uturu, on the 17th March 2022.
Hours after his resignation letter went viral on social media and mainstream media, Chief Amobi Ogah was seen joining the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with his group of supporters in Uturu still in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.
The Ward 8 Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Romanus Iroogaraya was present to accept Chief Amobi into the party with some of his excos.
It has been speculated that, the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal House of Representatives aspirant under All Progressive Congress in 2018 would be contesting for the same office under his current political party to battle it out with Hon Barr Nkeiruka Onyejeocha who’s currently occupying the position in the last 16 years. Though, Hon Bar Nkeiruka Onyejeocha is from Umunneochi while Chief Amobi Ogah is from Isuikwuato.
The councilor representing the good people of ward 8, Onyeegbule Godwin Oga was also present while Chief Amobi was being received into the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
