Wike Swears in 23 Council Chairmen in Rivers State

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has sworn in the 23 elected Local Government Chairmen today being 17th June, 2021, profjaysblog reports.

The newly elected Chairmen were sworn in at the State Government House with lots of dignitaries present.

Wike has advised the Chairmen to stay in their Local Government Areas and justify the trust given to them by securing their people and having tangible projects and achievements while in office.

Recall that the newly sworn in Chairmen were elected on the 17th of April, 2021 under the umbrella of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alongside their councilors.

Profjaysblog also gathered that all the elected councilors will be sworn in tomorrow, 18th of June, 2021 at their various LGA across the state by 9:00am accordingly.
