The Rise and Fall of Controversial Instagram Celebrity, Tunde Ednut

Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle popularly known as Tunde Ednut is a Nigerian Instagram celebrity with millions of followers to his credit.

Tunde Ednut is believed to have been born in the 80s somewhere in Katsina State and later moved to Lagos State. According to story, Tunde Ednut’s parents are said to be lecturers and he’s said to be the second child but the first son in a family of 5.

Tunde Ednut went to Cambridge International School where he badged his first school leaving certificate and later proceeded to Federal Government College, Ugolawo in Kogi State. He would later grab a BSc in Graphic Arts at the University of Lagos (UniLag).

Ednut later moved to the United States to study Graphic Designs at the Kingsland University, London.

He was said to have ventured into comedy, music, and many other endeavors before finally pitching his tent to becoming an Instagram influencer.

The controversial Instagram celebrity feels like the Lord of the ring when it comes to dishing out memes to people especially his perceived enemies. He has arguably helped a whole lot of upcoming artist and entertainers to gain visibility using his over 2.6million followers on social media. Most of his updates centers around his fellow celebrities in the entertainment industry, give aways and dishing out memes. He stepped on so many toes, some whom are said to be his rumoured enemies while some where just for the entertainment sake.

On 22nd December, 2020 before his account was widely reported by some persons for cyber bullying, intimation, harassment, stalking which was later brought down for violating Instagram policies, he was unarguably the most talked about Instagram controversial celebrity by the high and mighty. One of the people who was believed to have been behind the suspension of his Instagram account was Joroolumofin, the celebrity Instagram love doctor with his over 800 thousands of followers.

It is believed that one of the reasons why Tunde Ednut had a fall out with the Instagram love doctor was because of his involvement in alleging that him (Tunde) was having an expired Visa Card and he also accused him of stealing an iPhone while he (Tunde) was in the United Kingdom (UK).

Tunde Ednut and Joroolumofin has had too many Instagram beef and face out where they had called and threatened themselves on several occasions.

Tunde Ednut made a welcome back in the first, second week of January 2021, few weeks after his 2.6m Instagram oaccount was suspended indefinitely for violating Instagram policies. In coming back to Instagram, friends like Don Jazzy, a renowned music producer and the founder of Mavin Records, Mr Marcaroni, you’re doing well master and many other Instagram celebrities quickly made some short clips of videos to announce the return of Tunde Ednut now KingTundeEdnut back to Instagram. His followers grew massively within 4 hours to about 500 thousands and within 24hours to 48hours, it grew to 1million followers.

Soon after these massive turn out of following on Instagram, he quickly went back to his normal lifestyle of cyber bullying by first attacking/abusing/throwing shades at Wizkids. He was advised to shun that path of life and concentrate on the reasons why he came back, he quickly without wasting much of his time press his block buttton on Mr Marcaroni who had asked him to free Wizkid and allow everything to slide.

Few days after his widely publicized welcome back to Instagram, his account was again suspended indefinitely and has not come up till the time of this report. Tunde Ednut fell like a common tree with no voice in the forest and has lost his voice to his unrepentant bullying lifestyle with no headway on the social media space.

Tunde list of perceived enemies is as long as Igbo traditional marriage list especially from Mbaise part popularly known as “Country Five”.
