Mr. Emeka Ikwuagwu George is the founder of EMEKA IKWUAGWU FOUNDATION, a non-governmental and non-profitable organization, which was founded and funded solely by him, is purely for humanitarian assistance to the poor and needy. The decision to render humanitarian assistance to the indigent was as a result of his poor childhood and family background. He lost his father at the age of 12, which made him venture into street barbing. Emeka George Ikwuagwu is a graduate of Estate Management (HND) from Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State.
Today, Emeka Ikwuagwu George is the CEO of HOLMES VIU PROPERTIES LIMITED with branches all over Lagos. He is a member of many professional bodies.

EMEKA IKWUAGWU FOUNDATION was founded 7 years ago and has in many ways positively affected the lives of people of isuikwuato. Mr Emeka George Ikwuagwu contested for the PDP primaries election for the Federal House of Representatives for Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency and before his nomination as a Commissioner by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, he was the Campaign Director General 2019 for Okezie Ikpeazu Campaign Organisation for Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.

Amongst the various humanitarian interventions and community social development projects of Emeka Ikwuagwu Foundation include;

  • Yearly, Youth football tournaments in Umuobiala and Isuikwuato in general.
  • Distribution of school materials (exercise books, maths sets, bags, pens, pencils, erasers etc) to all schools both primary and secondary schools in Isuikwuato Local Government Area (private and public)
  • Distribution of school uniforms to indigent students in all the schools in Isuikwuato
  • Scholarships to very intelligent students in all the schools in Isuikwuato.
  • Scholarships to the less privileged.
  • Hosted, Isuikwuato intra-church choir competition, tagged “Easter Cantata”; Where 68 churches participated. Every participating church was given cash consolation prize while the first – three churches took home the star prizes.
  • Hosted, All Isuikwuato Inter-school Sports Competition. 6 students who performed very well at the competition were selected to represent Abia state during Youth Sports Festival in Ibadan, Oyo State and 2 of the students won gold for Abia state at the event.
  • Hosted, All Isuikwuato women cultural dance competition where over 800 wrappers were given out and cash prizes won.
  • Over 80 widows are currently under the care of Emeka Ikwuagwu Foundation.
  • Employed a number of Isuikwuato graduates in his company (HOLMES VIU PROPERTIES LIMITED) in Lagos and many are now professionally independent.
  • Introduced, the Isuikwuato youth skills acquisition and empowerment programme for 150 youths. 88 Youths have benefited from the batch A while the 62 of Batch B are currently under training.
  • Hosted, the Isuikwuato schools quiz competition, where winners received scholarships and cash awards
  • Currently in discussions for the establishment of EMEKA IKWUAGWU FOUNDATION Sports Academy.
  • Hosted “operation NO Ten Toes” in Abia State where he distributed more than 1000 Aba made cortina sandals to all indigent students in all schools in support of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s promotion of made in Aba products.
  • The foundation is partnering with VICAR HOPE FOUNDATION in the school feeding programme of the Abia State first lady, in the person of, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu. Emeka Ikwuagwu, promises a yearly partnership with VICAR HOPE FOUNDATION for the feeding of Abia state school children.
  • Emeka Ikwuagwu George has received over one thousand awards from various organizations and groups, within and outside Nigeria for recognition of his humanitarian efforts.
  • Making positive impact makes him happy. He loves reading and travelling. His idol is the Abia state Governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and Nelson Mandela.

He is married to Ezinne Nkiru Ikwuagwu and blessed with four beautiful children.
