Wife of the Abia State governor, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu has called on philanthropists in the state to support the less privileged by partnering Vicar Hope Foundation.
Mrs. Ikpeazu Ikpeazu stated this during during a courtesy call by the founder of Oziomachi Foundation, Dr. Nnamdi Ibekwe at the office of the wife of the governor, Government House, Umuahia.
Mrs. Ikpeazu thanked Dr. Ibekwe for the support his foundation has given to Vicar Hope Foundation in recent time just as she expressed her unreserved interest to see Vicar Hope partner with his foundation, saying it is the right thing to do in the conscious effort to reach out to the needy and less privileged in the society.
The wife of the governor who solicited the support of corporate bodies and individuals to assist her foundation in the onerous task of lending a shoulder to these members of the public prayed God to strengthen Dr. ibekwe and his foundation future endeavours.
Speaking earlier, Dr. Ibekwe disclosed that the aim of the visit was to see ways of collaborating with Vicar Hope Foundation in its task of supporting in the training of the girl child.
Ibekwe had congratulated Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu on his victory at the just concluded election just as he assured that it is a new dawn for Abian citizens.
Speaking also Mrs. Chinyere Kingsley Onuoha had taken stock of the landmark achievements of Vicar Hope through Mrs. Ikpeazu who she revealed has built about 68 houses for widows in the state.
