Isuikwuato APGA State House of Assembly Aspirant, Kelechi Omende Faces Disqualification Over Child Trafficking

About four months ago, profjaysblog broke the news of the arrest of Dr Kelechi Omende and his wife by Abia State Police Command  for child trafficking at his Okigwe hospital in IMO State.

According to Federal Republic of Nigeria’s and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) constitutions, any body who’s aspiring for any public position must at least be a member of the party 18months before and if be a public servant, must a resign his position before election but Dr Kelechi Omende could not meet up with the above. Dr Kelechi Omende is still a staff of Abia State Ministry of Health and he’s yet to resign even after picking his APGA isuikwuato state house of assembly nomination form.

Based on that, Ahaba Imenyi Progressive Movement have petitioned his candidacy at the state level of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and he was however suspended during his screening yesterday and risk disqualification from contesting at the primary level.
