Supreme Court Affirmation Of Chief Dr. Victor Ike Oye As APGA National Chairman – Dr. Alex Otti, OFR
I (Dr Alex Otti, OFR) received the news of the Supreme Court’s judgment of 13th July 2018 affirming Chief Victor Ike Oye as the bona fide National Chairman of our great party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), with utmost joy and palpable relief. This historical judgment affirms the place of our great Party in the politics of Nigeria. It is a tacit and implicit endorsement of Chief Victor Oye’s assertion that APGA is indeed, the last hope of Nd’Igbo in national politics.
I hereby congratulate our indefatigable National Chairman: a man renowned for his proven doggedness and sterling leadership qualities, and who is poised to lead our great party to greater heights, and electoral victory at the forthcoming 2019 general election. I also congratulate our party’s BOT Chairman and National Leader, His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano, the BOT, NEC, NWC as well as the APGA leadership at all levels, for this monumental victory.
I enjoin all party faithfuls to close ranks and support our party’s leadership. It is time to put the past behind us and forget all perceived bitterness and rancour. It is time for all APGA members to team up with our National Chairman, Chief Victor Oye and his team, to build a party that will be a model for all other political parties in Nigeria. I call on all APGA members and leaders at home and abroad, to rally round our party’s leadership under Chief Victor Oye. With this judgement, I appeal to those on the opposing side to sheat their sword and subsume their interests under the general interest of the party so as to build a united party for us to deliver on our goals and aspirations.
On behalf of myself, my family and political associates, and APGA leaders and members from Abia State, I once again congratulate our National Chairman, this well-deserved victory at the Supreme Court.
God Bless APGA.
God Bless Nigeria.
Dr. Alex C. Otti, OFR
